Information We Collect

DeeTing processes audio in real-time on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any audio recordings to our servers.

• Microphone access — Required for real-time hearing assistance. All audio processing happens locally on your device. No audio data is ever sent to the cloud.
• Accessibility Service — Used solely to capture Live Caption text for the transcription panel. This data stays on your device.
• No account required — DeeTing does not require account creation, login, or personal information.

Data Storage

All app configurations (modes, EQ presets, test results) are stored locally on your device. Export/import features use your clipboard — data is not sent to our servers.

Third-Party Services

DeeTing does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Children's Privacy

DeeTing does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13.
